Some times you just need an idea not a whole step by step tutorial so below are photos of several Christmas cards with a quick description of each. All materials are from Ferngully Stamps.
This Card has Metallic pink card A5 folded, black and white Polka Dot paper and ribbon, Reindeer stamp on textured pink card. Punches used-Medium circle punch (pink) and large Fiskars round scallop punch (black)

This Card has metallic blue A5 card folded, Polka dot paper, Black textured paper across the middle. Holly stamp with white embossing powder, Silver/Clear Merry Christmas sticker that has been coloured black with a permanent marker. Punches used- Medium circle (black), large round scallop (blue) Fiskars large circle (white)

This Card has black A5 card folded, 2 types of decorative Christmas papers, black ribbon, holly stamp. Punches used- medium circle(white) and Fiskars medium square scallop punch (red).

This Card has black A5 card folded, 2 types of Christmas decorative papers, red card for the mat, black ribbon. -Punches used- medium circle(white) , Fiskars medium square scallop punch (red) and Fiskars large scallop round punch (olive)

This Card has black A5 card folded, black ribbon, metallic silver paper, 3-D- lift up stickers and silver/clear Merry Christmas sticker coloured black with a permanent marker

This card has metallic blue A5 card folded, Decorative snow flake paper, reindeer stamp with red embossing powder, silver/clear Merry Christmas sticker coloured red with a permanent marker. The punches used- Fiskars large round scallop (red) and then it has had a medium circle punched in the middle. The red flower shape has double sided foam around the outside so it sits up higher than the blue Reindeer.

This card has Black A5 card folded, metallic silver paper in the middle, silver border stickers, 3-D- Lift up xmas tree sticker. Punches used- Small star punch (aqua) with rhinestones in the middle of each and Fiskars large scallop circle .

Craft Tutorial #17-Reindeer Gift Card
This is a clever idea, great for work friends, school mates or teachers.
You will need: All items available at Ferngully Stamps
Reindeer Stamp - Only available at Ferngully Stamp
Message Stamp- Only available at Ferngully Stamps 
White card for medium circle
White card -4cm x 9cm
Green card for large round scallop
Green or brown card to fold over bag- 5.5cm x 7cm
Fiskars large round scallop punch
Fiskars medium circle or round scallop punch
Black or Brown ink pad
Coloured markers- red and green
Snap lock clear bag -approx 5cm x 9cm
Chocolate balls
Double sided tape or adhesive
Follow the steps below to create this cute gift card-
Step 1- Punch a medium circle from white card and use black or brown ink to stamp you reindeer onto white circle. Colour the Holly in red and green and the reindeer nose in red. Option- you can edge the sides with ink using a dauber.

Step 2- With dark green card punch a large scalloped circle

Step 3- Attach your Reindeer image to the centre of the green scalloped circle

Step 4- Stamp your message onto the 4cmx 9cm white card using black or brown ink

Step 5- Attach your stamped message to the right side of the reindeer and on a slight downward angle

Step 6-Fold your Green or Brown 5.5cm x 7cm card in half .

Step 7-Fill your bag with chocolate balls & place the card over the top of your snap lock bag, staple the folded card.

Step 8-Attach your Reindeer and message to the front of the folded card using double sided tape

Options- You can attach 2 different coloured large Scalloped circles to each other for a little extra touch.

Tutorial #16- Folded Santa Card
Another Great Christmas Card Idea
You Will Need: All items available at Ferngully Stamps
Note: These measurements are in inches
Black card 8½ ” x 5½”
Santa:
-Decorative Santa paper - 1¾” x 4
- Red Mat 1¾” x 3⅞”
Greeting:
-White mat for stamped image 2⅝”x 3⅝”
-Red mat 2¾”x 3¾”
Santa Face:
-Decorative Santa paper 1¼” x 1¼”
- Red card Fiskars square scallop punch
Double sided tape
Black ribbon
Greeting stamp
Ink for stamping
Follow the instructions below to make this simple yet effective card
Step 1-
Cut your black card to size 8½ ” x 5½” and Score card in half
Step 2-
Place card in cutter at 3½” and cut from 1¼” to 6¼” 
Step 3-Score your card on the wider side of the slit at -
1¼” , 2¼” and 3¼” then turn card 180ᵒ at score at 2¼” as shown

Step 4- Now fold from the 1¼” Mountain fold

Step 5- Then Valley fold

Step 6- Mountain fold

Step 7- Valley then Mountain and then press flat

Step 8- Centre your Decorative Santa paper - 1¾” x 4 onto the red 1¾” x 3⅞” mat using double sided tape
Tie a bow using 2 lengths of black ribbon and using double sided tape to attach, bring the ends of the ribbon around the back of the red mat

Step 9- Put double sided tape on the back of the red mat

Step 10- Attach the red mat to the front left of the card

Step 11-Attach your Santa face to the square scallop red card

Step 12-Place double sided tape on the bottom corner only

Step 13- Attach the Santa face to the front right as shown

Step 14- Stamp your image onto your white mat and edge around the card with a dauber

Step 15- Attach your stamped image to the red 2¾”x 3¾” mat using double sided tape. On the back put double sided tape on the bottom only as shown

Step 16-When you attach your stamped image line it up with the half way fold of the card. Don’t attach it too far down in the crease. It should all line up when pressed flat and able to fit into a standard size envelope.

Tutorial #15 Little Black Bird Christmas Card
Make this cute little bird, a creative way of using your round paper punch
You will Need: All items available at Ferngully Stamps
Round Paper Punch Medium
Dark olive card A5 folded in half
Mat 1- Patterned Paper-8cm x 14.8cm- black bird and holy
Textured red card- 2 strips -2cm x 14.8cm and 1cm x 14.8cm
Adhesive
Double sided tape
Double sided foam
Edging scissors
For the bird-
Dark olive card 6cm x 6cm
White card 5cm x 5cm
scraps of - Black, Red and Gold card
Follow instructions below to make this beautiful card
Step 1- Body-Using your punch, punch out 1 black circle and put aside.
Face-Punch out 1 red circle then put the red circle back into the punch almost all the way and punch making a pointy oval shape as shown. This should be about half the size of the black full circle or just under.
Tail- Punch a black circle and then put the circle back into the punch only a quarter of the way and punch making a small pointy oval shape
Beak- Do the same as you did for the tail using the gold card
Eye-Cut out a black circle and put a white circle in the middle for the eye or you could use a stick on dolls eye, in this example I have cut out from black and white polka dot paper.

Step 2- Assembling the bird-
Apply adhesive the back of the red face and attach to one side of the black circle

Step 3-Add the tail to the back of the bird and tilt up slightly and add the beak to the front

Step 4- Cut 2 thin strips of black card- approx 2cm and cut 4 small strips approx 5mm
attach 2 small strips to the bottom of one long strip, place them on an angle so they stick out like birds feet
Make 2 of these and attach to the bottom of the bird.

Step 5- This is what your bird should look like, you can have the face larger than this if you like as shown in the next step.

Step 6- Centre & attach your white 5cmx5cm card onto the olive 6cm x6xm card and attach your bird to the center of the white card.

Step 7-Optional-
trim one side of your patterned paper with edging scissors and attach to the front of the card as shown

Step 8- Attach your 2 red strips of paper to left side of the patterned paper leaving a space between them a
s shown

Step 9- Using double sided foam attach your bird to the bottom left of the card, leaving about 1.5cm at the bottom as shown.

This exciting new project range direct from England includes a comprehensive range of co-ordinated tools, papers and embellishments all designed to compliment each other and linked into the exclusive docraft Bi-monthly magazine all available from Ferngully as of mid December 2009.

Craft Demo Dayz 5
Our 5th official “Demo Dayz” -Weekend was held on October 2nd, 3rd and4th 2009. As always it was a fantastic weekend.
If you have never experienced one of these fantastic Demo weekends you don’t know what you are missing. It is a great opportunity to try something new. Get ideas and learn how to use new products.
Each Session runs for approximately 4 hours during which time all participants take part in a number of hands-on make and take projects. Our experienced teachers will guide you through each project and are always ready to answer any questions.
Free tea, coffee and snacks are provided throughout the day, as well as prizes. There are also many specials stocked especially for the event scattered throughout the store.
At the end of each session every attendee receives a FREE sample bag.

Craft Tutorial#14-Butterfly Tri fold
Craft Tutorial #14-Butterfly Tri-Fold
What you need:All items available at Fern Gully Stamps
Metallic blue card- 20cm x11cm
Scrap Metallic blue card for butterfly cut out
Decorative Paper- silver and blue -2 pieces that measure 5cm x 4cm
Scrap silver and blue decorative paper for butterfly cut out
Silver ribbon 5mm wide
Double sided foam
Adhesive
Rhinestones

step 1- Use this butterfly template or draw one of your own,trace it onto the scrap metallic blue card

Step 2-Cut the butterfly shape out

Step 3- Trace a smaller version on the butterfly onto the back of the decorative silver and blue paper and cut it out. tip -to get an even butterfly, draw one half of it and fold along the middle of the butterfly then cut out.

Step 4- Cut this butterfly in half and remove the centre by cutting a small piece from the inside of each half.

Step 5- Using adhesive attach the the each side of the cut out paper onto the card butterfly and fold each side upward

Step 6- Add 3 Rhinestones to the centre of the butterfly

Step 7-Measure your blue metallic card- it should be 20cm x 11
Measure 5cm from the left edge and 5cm from the right edge and fold each side inward to make a fold card

Step 8-Use a scorer to make a nice fold

Step 8- Draw a soft line, horizontally across the card- Measure 5.5cm from the top of the card- this is where the ribbon will be

Step 9 - Make some slits along this line to thread your ribbon-Make the slits at least 5mm long to allow for the ribbon.The slits will be on the 2 front panels of the card. For each panel measure a few mm in from the edge and do 2 slits that are about 3mm apart from each other. Do this to each side of your panels so you end up with 8 slits altogether. 4 on each front panel. Pictured you can see just one of the front panels

Step 10- Thread your ribbon through these slits as shown

Step 11- Attach your 2 pieces of decorative paper to the front panels below the ribbon using adhesive or double sided tape

Step 12- Use double sided foam to attach your butterfly as shown. Option- you can also add another piece of decorative paper to the inside of the card- 4 x 10cm
Craft Tutorial # 13-Baubles Card

What You Need: All Items available at Fern Gully Stamps
Small Carl Swirl Punch
Large round Punch (or cut our with scissors)
White card 18.5 x21cm
Patterned Paper-Pale mauve clouds 10.5 x 18.5cm
Silver metallic paper-scrap
For the baubles- Dark blue textured card & 2 different but matching patterned papers
Adhesive (glue pen)
Double sided tape
Merry Christmas silver sticker
silver border sticker
silver rhinestones or stars
Follow steps below to make this merry little card
Step 1 Using a small swirl punch- punch 3 swirls from silver metallic paper
Step 2 Using the same silver metallic paper cut 3 small rectangles 2cm x 6mm

Step 3 Attach each swirl to the back of a 2×6mm silver rectangle ,centred as shown- this is you Bauble top

Step 4 Cut 3 circles that are 4-4.5cm at widest point-
One in plain dark blue textured card
2 in different patterned papers in matching colours

Step 5 Attach the Bauble tops to the top of the cut out circles centered

Step 6 Decorated the plain Bauble
On the plain dark blue bauble place silver border stickers along the bottom and top
Place rhinestones or stars in the centre of the blue Bauble

Step 7 Cut 3 thin strips of silver metallic paper approx 10cm long and 2mm wide

Step 8 Place double sided tape on the front of the white folded card and attach the mauve cloud paper, this should cover the entire front of the card

Step 9 Arrange your baubles on the front of the cloud paper where you would like them, do not attach yet

Step 10 Remove the Baubles and place your thin silver strips on the the cloud paper. Trim the excess at the top.

Step 11 Apply adhesive to back of the Baubles and stick in place, the silver strips should just touch the top of the silver swirl

Step 12 One of the Bauble may sit over the top of one of the silver strips.

Step 13 Attach a Merry Christmas Sticker to the bottom left corner

You could do some more decorating by adding glitter to the baubles or more rhinestones
Craft Tutorial #12- Christmas Tree Card

Craft Tutorial #12- Create a Christmas Tree out of punched shapes
What You Need: All Items available at Fern Gully Stamps
A small to medium size punch- Heart shape, flower or star
Mat 1 - Metallic silver/pale pink Paper 6.5cm x 7cm
Card- Metallic pale pink textured card folded in half
bright pink card to punch hearts shapes out of
Border and message stickers
Small decorative silver stickers (small parts that can be taken out ) or cut up a border sticker to use instead
Double sided tape
Double sided foam
Adhesive
Permanent coloured pen-Pink
Step 1-
You can Make your silver message and border stickers pink by using a bright pink permanent marker

Step 2- Punch 10 bright pink Heart shapes


Step 3- Place you heart shapes upside down
Apply adhesive to the bottom right of one heart as shown

Step 4-Align another heart on top of the first heart. The left bump on the top heart should be on top of the right bump of the bottom heart, so you now see 3 bumps at the bottom as shown.

Step 5- Apply adhesive to the right side of the top heart and add a third heart

Step 6-Continue to make a row of 4 hearts, a row of 3 hearts, a row of 2 hearts and then a single heart.
I will refer to these rows as - top single heart is row 1, then next one down with 2 hearts is row 2, then row 3 and at the bottom with 4 hearts row 4.
Step 7-
Joining the rows-Apply Adhesive to the 4th row (bottom row)- Apply it to the front, near the top,
align row 3 (3 hearts) to the top of row 4.

Step 8- Apply adhesive to the top of the 3rd row (3 hearts) and align the 2nd row (2 hearts)with the top of row 3.

Step 9- Apply adhesive to the 2 row and add the single heart at the top.
Step 10- Make another tree, this time using only 3 rows

Step 11-To decorate the tree use small pieces of silver stickers or cut up a part of a border sticker


Step 12- Place the small stickers between each heart or randomly.

Step 13-Put a border around Mat 1 using border stickers - 5mm in from the edges.

Step 14-Put double sided foam on the back of both trees and place them on the front of Mat 1.

Step 15-Place a border around the front of the folded card 5mm in from the edge using border stickers.

Step 16-Place double sided tape to the back of Mat 1 and place it 5mm in from the top border.

Step 17- Put a message on the front of the card, below Mat 1

You can use a larger heart punch to make a larger Christmas tree, you can also make the Christmas tree out of other shapes such a flower punch.
