Craft Tutorials#3 - Daisy Punch Card

Craft Tutorial #3 -Daisy Punch Card
Make this stunning Card using 2-3 different sized Daisy punches enhanced by Rhinestones. You can do Daisy corners or fill in the entire area.
You can achieve the same technique using other shaped punches such as a Butterfly,Dragonfly or Angel
What You Need:
All items available at Fern Gully Stamps
2 White A5 Card. One of them to be folded in half
Sharp Card Cutting Knife
Ruler
Carl Daisy Punch –Large, Medium and Small-CP 1 and CP2
Kaser Self Adhesive Rhinestones
Adhesive
Tweezers
Grease proof Paper or Baking Paper
Step 1
Lay your baking paper down and work on top of that.
On the front of your folded A5 white card measure 11.5 x 5cm rectangle. Do this 1.5cm from the edge of the card
The rectangle in this example can be horizontal, across the bottom or vertical, closest to the right side of the card.
Using a ruler and a sharp Knife cut out the rectangle

Step 2
Punch out all 3 different sized Daisy’s. If you want a 2 Corner card, do 2 of each size. Use the left over card that you cut away

Step 3
Start with the largest Daisy. Apply adhesive to the tips of 4 of petals

Step 4
Place the Daisy, adhesive side down to the inside of one corner of the rectangle

Step 5
Using the medium Daisy apply adhesive to 4-5 of the petals and place it partly on top of the large Daisy and partly on top of the border, inside the rectangle

Step 6
Do the same with the small Daisy, place this on top, between the other Daisy’s

Step 7
Add a self adhesive rhinestone to the middle of each Daisy

You can use all the same sized rhinestones or you can use smaller ones for the smaller Daisy’s

Step 8
Repeat all the above steps for the opposite corner. It would look great for a photo. You could also do all 4 corners

or you can keep going and fill in the entire area with Daisys using the same technique. Make sure all Daisy’s overlap slightly

Here is a close up
