Craft Tutorial#10- Card Making using Clear Acetate

Craft Tutorial #10- Clear Acetate -You can stamp any image onto acetate to create a 3 dimensional look. Follow the instuctions below to create this wonderful Wedding Card.

What you need- All items available from Fern Gully Stamps

Sheet of clear Acetate

Card making using Clear Acetate

staz on ink Black Cherry

 Stamp-Champagne Glass

plain cream paper

Black Card folded in half -21cm x17cm

Mat one - Red textured Card 9×14.5cm

Mat two -Patterned paper -gold hearts on cream

Tube glitter glue goldcardmaking-with-clear-acetate-13

2 charms or beads -6mm cream

6 small 4mm jump rings

2 head pins

card to match mat one-9cmx1.5cm

Message in gold approx 4cmx1cm

 double sided tape

double sided foam

Step 1- Using Staz On ink stamp 2 champagne glass  images onto the clear acetate- careful it can slip  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2-cardmaking-with-clear-acetate-6 After the ink is dry,  Cucardmaking-with-clear-acetate-5t around the outside of  both stamped  images

 Step 3- Using Staz On ink stamp 2 more images -Champagne glass onto plain cream paper

Step 3-  Cut out  part of the image on the cream paper-  half the glass see photo

Step 4- Apply a dab of glue to the front of the cut out image on the cream paper. Place it behind the acetate stamped image and line it up. carefully press it in place so it sticks. do this to both champagne glass images

Step 5- Using glitter glue, dot a few drops on the top of the glass image

Step 6- Attach a  charm or bead (each bead needs a head pin and a loop on each side) to 3 small connected jump rings

Step 7-Open the last jump ring and place it around the bottom of the acetate  champagne glass image, repeat for the other

Step 8-Place  double sided tape on the back of  Mat two (patterned paper) and center it on top of  mat one (red card)

Step 9-Put a message in the center of the  9cm x 1.5cm red card

Step 10-Place the red card with the message  across the bottom of the card- about 1.5cm up from the bottom edge of the mat one (red card) make sure you can see a bit of the patterned paper at the bottom as well

Step 11-   Cut a small piece of double side foam and place it on the back of the acetate stamped image, where the cream cut out image is so that you can will not see the tape from the front

 Step 12-Position your 2  champagne glasses on top of  Mat two (patterned paper) put them on a slight angle

Step 13-Put double side tape on the back of the Mat two (red card) and center onto your folded black card
